Do you hate shopping for undergarments? Would you like to find a bra that fits your body? Norma Loehr to the rescue! The lingerie designer and Author of Demystifying Bra Fitting and Construction, is coming to AGOS to teach a small group to make their own bras! In this weekend intensive you will sew up at least one bra that fits your specific measurements, and perhaps make another depending on your sewing speed, and material comprehension. At the end of the weekend you will leave with the tools and skills to make bras that fit you!
The workshop consists of a combination of lecture, demonstration, and lots of hands-on sewing. The focus is to get you familiar, and comfortable, with bra making techniques to build a base for sewing custom fit bras on your own. You will sew a bra based on your measurements and/or ready-to-wear size and upon completion will have that bra fitted to YOUR figure.
Depending on your sewing speed and abilities, you will be able to make the necessary pattern adjustments to your first bra, and cut and sew up a second bra based on the fitting advice during the 2-day workshop. Get ready to rock the undergarments!

Norma spent her youth as an avid seamstress and designer, but put it aside to focus on a career in finance. When she could not locate a luxury custom bra making service in North America, Norma left her position at a major Wall Street firm in New York to focus on the study and practice of custom bra making and founded Orange Lingerie 2010. She is now based in Boston. You can read more about Norma and see her work at orange-lingerie.com.
